Hi friends and neighbors. big Al Here. Just For You -Some Old Some New

   A big "Hi!" to all my friends. I wrote three songs on this album and rearranged the song "Brother Ira". I wrote "The Whiskey Made Mommy That Way", "Tiny Red Slippers", and "The Old Family Barn". Hope you enjoy them.
   I got some good ideas from my good friend Mona Duboise. She is such a great writer of poems and songs. I enjoyed making this album. Thanks to all of you that support my music. Most of the songs I write are true stories of things I have seen or heard about in my travels. I have another album out for the 2005 tour that contains only my songs on a double sided case called "All Mine" and has 32 of my original songs.

   Hi! my name is Big Al Traynor. I just released a new album for my Canadian Tour 2005 to the east coast of Canada. This album contains only my own songs songs I have recorded over the years, and all the songs are of things that I have heard of or seen over the years. Some are true stories of things that happened in my life or my family's life. I did get some ideas from my friend, Mona Duboise, a great poem writer and a songwriter in her own right. The album does contain 32 songs and comes in a slim jacket as I could not find a two album container that would hold two albums and an insert cover, too. Each album contains a signature guitar pick. I wrote all the songs and all the music for this album, and I do hope you like it . My best music can be found right here at The Country Music Planet.
   I just got back From N.F.L.D. and we had a great time. The DJ, Don Gibbins, from N.F,L.D. made the trip just fine for us. We did radio shows in N.B. Nova Scotia and N.F.L.D.. This new album did great for me, and you can pick up a copy of it right hear at The Country Music Planet and also check out my other CDs at this site.
   Thanks to everybody for your support. This new album contains some gospel songs I wrote and some I re-wrote I'm sure any one that likes my music will enjoy this album.

"Big" Al Traynor was born in Barrie Ontario. He is the second oldest of 10 children. He started playing the mouth organ when he was about 15 years old, then bought a guitar and taught himself to play. He's been playing music now for over 40 years. He plays banjo, doghouse bass, mandolin, and violin. He's played in 2 bluegrass bands, and was Smiley Bates' bass player for 25 years.
"Big" Al Traynor is retired now, and has finally fulfilled his lifelong dream. In May 2002 I completed his first 2 albums, "Stories Of Life" & "Pure Country" recorded in Oshawa, Ontario at Ambassador Studio. In the summer of 2003, he completed 4 more albums. "Diamonds", "Just A Closer Walk", "In The Key Of "C" Boys" & "My Tribute to Smiley Bates". All albums have been doing very well for Al, especially in Newfoundland and in Australia. He finished another album, which consist of 15 songs written by him. The title of this album is "Pure Country Tears" and is available by clicking here.
